Now before we start this little review I would just like to point out that this is my fav episode of season 1 and yes it is biased towards Cat and Sam but who doesn't love the line mentioned above.
The first scene we see in this episode is one of the sexiest sex scenes in the show and, as every lesbian knows, Lou gets woken up in the best way possible. The downside for Tess in this scene is that Lou won't go down on her so she has to use a vibrator to get off, this is probably one of the worst situations to find yourself in. I also like the little line when Lou says ''How did you get so good at that?'' And Tess says ''I took lessons in sex at the local education center''. If only it was that easy :/ Then we get the Funeral of Frankie's Auntie, While Frankie's getting ready I think she looks like a twelve year old boy in that suit, then she goes for the most inappropriate outfit for a funeral ever e.g. Hat,Camera, Long Sleeved T-Shirt and a Hoody!. She then precedes to take pictures of Cat, One word = Stalker!. Then she makes a show of herself with the whole dirt throwing thing. Now to be fair she goes missing for years on end, comes back then thinks she has the right to throw the dirt and act like a small child. (I think not).
Still at the funeral when Cat is stood on her own she looks like she gonna be sick and I like the way we start to learn a Very Very small part about Frankie's past when she has the argument with her uncle. I don't like Frankie being drunk as I think they could have just had her walk out instead of her living up to her bad girl name plus she reminds me of a petchalent child ( not just in this scene but through this whole series). I also don't get how Cat can still love her when she so nasty to her, am sure any normal person would tell her to Piss Off. During all this Tess has started her job as a runner on Lou's show, first things first Tom is a perv and I love Lou description of him ''Looks like a potato'', funniest line she says in the whole thing. I also love the bald guys envy when Tess ask if her knows the camera man Bob - '' Good looking blonde guy'' :P Cat has now left the funeral and Frankie and is on the phone to Tess, when suddenly her phone is stolen, her chasing the guy is funny, the way she shouting and her arms like windmills. Positive note she can run in heals. Then when she taken into the police station the first person she sees is Sam, I love her face its like I know you but I can't let anyone else know that. Don't like the back of her waistcoat. Then when Sams comes to take over questioning Cat there's cute little flirting and facial expressions plus Sam has a white shirt on = HOT!
So the next few scene on exactly the most exciting, its all centered around Lou coming to Tess and Cats for dinner then not turning up and Jay and Cat in the office talking about her impeding date with Sam but here are few things I picked up on :). Ed's little crush on Tess is cute and his one comedy line so far ''I haven't even pleasured myself today''. The necklace Jay buys for his girlfriend Becky is not nice at all, not even a little bit. Phone in the washing machine when waiting for that call of a girl = classic. The intern in the office, not that hot and Lip Service version of Google - find that fact.
The next few scene's are based on Frankie trying to find out where the pictures of her went when she was young and also go back to Tess and her Job. So when Frankie goes to the lawyer to ask about the will and is told she can't be told who it went to she pretends to fancy the window cleaner in order to get it. I don't know why any lesbian would pretend to like men, in all honesty I don't get the whole men are okay sometimes, if your lesbian you like women or am I missing the point. I also hate it when she goes to the address and i running after that boy, as if she would have ever caught him. Now on to Tess, this has to be one of the funniest scene on the show, first off she has a really nice coat on. She is giving the job to pick up the guest, Marie Chambers, from the airport, when she gets there she's drunk and this is when some of the best comedy lines come from; ''Am not bloody deaf'',''Someone needs to fix the wobbly lino'', she's drinking in the taxi, and then she fall's asleep when she in the taxi and when she sits down. Of course shes drunk.
Okay so the next few paragraphs are about the Sam and Cat date, The sex scene, Frankie and a bit of Tess. So we start off with Tess and Lou in her changing room after Tess gets the sack for pretending to be Marie Chambers; Tess says that Lou made a mockery of her after cancelling the meal with all her friends. When in actual fact the only two people there where Cat and Ed. We also get another amazing fake crying scene from Lou :P It then cuts to Frankie turning up at Cats when she getting ready for her date. Frankie ask's her for a drink and when Cat says no she realizes she can't always have what you want and who wants never gets. She then asks Cat does she really want to date a cop, her reply; '' I want to date someone who is honest and kind'' She should have added on the end '' she's a cop. she's hot and I will later find out what a good fuck she is'' :P. We then get to the date and Sam has an amazing smile and during this scene you just want then to get together and fall into bed. We the cut back to Frankie who is looking for a girl to get under, while outside some bar she see's a blonde girl who's waiting for her girlfriend, when her girlfriend gets there she kisses her on the cheek, why didn't she just give her a proper kiss? Then back to the date and Sam can be seen biting her lip - officially died an went to heaven.
Frankie ends up in a book shop (Random) and we see Sadie for the first time. First impressions aren't the best she looks a bit like a prostitute and then she starts stealing books, I gather she has really deep pockets in that coat. When Frankie finds Sadie she has a really nice accent and I love the description of ''modern day Robin Hood'' also notice Frankie's smile. Then we get to Tess and Lou's sex scene and finally Tess gets layed by her, to be fair this is a Hot sex scene and I especially love the bit where Lou bites Tess's bum.
The Frankie takes Sadie back to Jays flat they chat for a bit before Frankie says ''Fancy Fuck''. Then they have one the the sex scenes I hate the most although I love Jays little knowing smile. I also love the way Sadie just goes in the morning. But of course this final part of this episode is all about Sam and Cats love scene. They walk into the flat and Sam mentions Cat OCD ways and they have a drink. Sam then tells story of her time in the police. Then comes that line ''I can be brave sometimes'', Cat says ''Yeah'', and you know by the look on her face she knows whats going to happen. This is what I wrote in my little book to sum it up ( I also suggest you watch it again); The music = amazing, the way Cat stands against the fridge, Sam's cheeky smile, that line, Cat's face, the kiss, the actual sex. Every Lesbians dream, best scene of the season. The last thing I wrote? Cat being a lucky bitch who get's to wake up to Sam in the morning :P
