Now last night while almost dying from lack of sleep myself and my friend claire decided that we should watch the full six seasons of the L word and yet again links could be found between the story lines. Okay so they may not have been that obvious at first glance but if you look close enough you should be able to find them so here's the thoughts.


The first is in both shows there seems to be hang out spot that we see most of the charachters congregate, in Lip Service we have Ruby's and in the L word we have the planet. The second thing we linked between the two shows is that the main characters in both have a straight brother/sister who is unlucky in love (Cat and Ed/Bette and Kit). 


In season 4/5 of the L word we see Bette with Jodi and its blatantly obvious that she still loves Tina, so because of this little dilemma they have the best affair I have ever seen in a show. EVER! Okay from that kiss in Hit club to the minute there stuck in the lift every lesbian all over the world wished they could have an affair as good as that (or at least there real relationship was that good). But when you come to think of it the times that they where apart you wanted them to get back together, you wanted them to kiss,make up and get on with-it. Well even though at the start we new really nothing about Frankie and all we knew is that Sam Murray was HOT! We knew they should be together, that really they couldn't function without each other and ever so secretly as much as we wanted Cat to be with Sam we knew that she was always going to sleep with Frankie.


Now the second season of Lip service,again was harder, but I reckon I found it but you might have to bear with me. Okay so in The L Word we have Dylan and Helena who of course get together accidently in purpose due to some scam but they actually end up falling for each other. Then in season 6 when Dylan comes back and the get together and the sex is great. Then just as we think its gonna end up in a white wedding they break up because even though they are great together they where just never meant to be. Well in away the Tess/Sam/Lexy threesome thing is the same, think about? Sam and Lexi get togther and we know that really they should be together ( maybe not but the Sex)! But really we want her to get with Tess but in away we know it would never happen because Lexi is just to much of a butch Lesbian and Tess is just too nice.   And I guess for Tess its a bit like Jodi and Bette. Because while Bette loves Tina and Jodi loves Bette we know that her heart is'nt in it. Well Lexi loves Sam and Tess Loves Lexi but we know Lexi isnt really init.


Well that's what I have come. if it makes sence.
Am now going away for the week so I can't update but when I get back I shall be watching the whole two season again, giving my insight into what I think and maybe giving alternative endings so if you like it so far stay tuned :)
